Courtney C.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Education: International Business College
Hometown: Terre Haute, IN
Pets: Willow and Dais
I am a 2012 graduate of the International Business College Vet Tech Institute in Indianapolis. In 2014, I came to Brown Veterinary Hospital to work as a veterinary technician and Inventory manager.
Aside from working, I am a very proud mom to 3 sweet boys, Jace, Camden, and Nolan. They are very full of energy and love their mom’s attention! When I’m not working, my time is spent with my fiancé, Justin, and our boys. We also have 2 dogs that keep us on our toes even more! As a family, we love exercising and making healthier lifestyle choices. We’re also very family oriented and enjoy spending time with family as much as possible!

Danielle
Practice Manager, RVT
Education: Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology
Hometown: Terre Haute, IN
Pets: Sir Flash McBaron (Boxer) Rollo (Pit bull mix)
I am one of the Registered Veterinary Technicians here at Brown Veterinary Hospital. I was pre-veterinary at Indiana State University for 3 years before making the decision to change degrees and enroll at Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in Denver, CO. After graduating in 2008, I completed an internship at the Indianapolis Zoo Veterinary Hospital. My husband, Travis, moved with me to Colorado to pursue my dream of veterinary medicine; he is a wonderful husband and father. Our 2 beautiful children, Reagan and Avery, keep us on our toes on a daily basis. Rollo, a rescue Pit bull mix, joined the family in 2015; he is such a sweet handsome goofball and became best friends with the kids. Flash is our lovable Boxer who loves playing tag with the kids. He has the best butt wiggles.
When I’m not at the hospital, I enjoy being a mother and walking trails. I grew up with all kinds of animals and going into veterinary medicine was a goal I set for myself. I enjoy our clients and the stories they share with us about their pets. I love the constant advances happening in veterinary medicine; these advances allow me to not only keep patient care a number one priority, but also make me excel as an RVT!

Deborah
Veterinary Assistant
Education: South Ripley High School
Pets: Rue Beans
I graduated from South Ripley High School in Versailles, IN in 2022. I am currently attending college with a biology major and chemistry minor on the pre-veterinary track. My goal is to attend Purdue and get my DVM. I want to further my education and obtain a PhD in surgery. In the future I want to open my own clinic just like Dr. Brown. In my free time, I am Miss Ripley County 2023-2024 2nd runner up, and I am on the cheer and dance team at SMWC. I am also the founder and president of the SMWC Pre-Veterinary Medical Association. I am also a very proud cat mom to a spoiled grey cat, Rue Beans. I’m excited to be part of the Brown Vet family, and I am learning so much from everyone!

Emily B.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Education: Harrison College
Hometown: Pittsboro, IN
Pets: Nimbus
Hi, I’m Emily! I’ve been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 10 years. I graduated from Harrison College in 2011, and I’ve had pets of all different kinds. I grew up in the small town of Pittsboro, IN, (home of NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon and Olympic gymnast Bridget Sloan) about 25 miles west of Indy. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do after graduating from Tri-West High School until I found my calling in veterinary medicine. Now I’m always learning something new, and I get to help animals and their people!
I’m currently a cat mom to an orange tabby (my favorite) named Nimbus. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, playing video games, reading novels, and singing. I also volunteer at a local horse sanctuary whenever I can. My passions in veterinary medicine include pain management, behavioral health, and exotic animal medicine.

Hello, my name is Terrye. I am so proud to be working with an amazing team at Brown Veterinary Hospital. I have an AAS degree in office administration with a medical concentration. My husband and I have a total of 5 children and 8 grandchildren. We love spending time with our family, boating, camping, and just plain ole family dinners.
Although we love animals in general, our favorite is our silver Lab Sterling; he is such a loving boy and enjoys our family just as much as we do.
